“GFC Healthy Weight Loss Program” Launched at 11 Locations
To cultivate a culture of health in the workplace, GFC offers health checkups that exceed legal requirements and uses in-house nurses to analyze health data. Recent findings showed that 64% (812 out of 1,262) of employees were overweight (BMI ≥ 24). In response, the "GFC Weight Loss Campaign" was launched in 2024. Employees were grouped into 13 teams nationwide to engage in a team-based competition.
In 2025, the company continues to promote the program. Starting in April, 2 fitness instructors were hired to lead the “GFC Healthy Weight Loss Exercise Classes” at 11 locations. These classes help employees with a BMI ≥ 30 control body fat and weight. Prize draws also motivate participants to meet their goals. The initiative aims to build good exercise habits, raise health awareness, improve physical condition, reduce illness risks, and boost work efficiency.
To ensure safety, company nurses accompany all sessions, fulfilling the company’s commitment to employee care. GFC will continue to promote more health initiatives in pursuit of a sustainable and healthy future.
