The 2025 Soochow International Ultra-Marathon kicked off at 9:00 AM on November 29th under the bright winter sun. Thirty-three top ultramarathon runners from 7 countries competed together. Overcoming the challenge of extreme temperature differences between day and night, the athletes completed this major annual event.The non-stop 24-hour Soochow Ultra-Marathon once again set a milestone for domestic sporting events.

A total of seven runners achieved IAU international standard results. This allowed the Soochow Ultra-Marathon—which was recently awarded the "Taiwan Brand International Sports Event" by the Ministry of Sports—to receive the Gold Label certification from the International Association of Ultrarunners (IAU) for the sixth time.
