On 2016/07/08, Taitung was devastated by Typhoon Nepartak with a force 17 gust of wind. In the aftermath of the disaster, Taitung needs not only reconstruction funds, but also manpower and equipment for reconstruction. After the strong typhoon hit Taitung, GFC provides a donation of NT$2 million and equipment for the disaster relief.
