GFC ranks in the top 6%~20% for nine years in corporate governance evaluation

On April 30, the Taiwan Stock Exchange announced the results of the 10th (2023) corporate governance evaluation, and GFC ranked in the top 6% to 20%.

Since 2015,GFC has consistently achieved a ranking in the top 6% to 20%. For nine consecutive years, GFC has maintained its ranking while actively adhering to the four major categories of corporate governance evaluation indicators. Additionally, in 2018, 2020, and 2021, GFC ranked in the top 5% three times.

As corporate governance becomes increasingly important to businesses and investors, the average scores of evaluated companies have generally improved. In the most recent two evaluations, the average scores of the top 5% were nearly perfect. Despite strictly adhering to various corporate governance measures, GFC has not been able to rank in the top 5% due to a few items not scoring for continuous improvement. For instance, the shareholders' meeting must be held before the end of May, investment in the green energy industry, and significant resource investment in domestic cultural development, etc. GFC remains committed to making the greatest efforts, focusing on the interests of shareholders, customers, partners, and employees, and continuing to improve in governance
