Since July '23, volunteers from GFC have visited the adopted forest land on Yangmingshan by the "Cilin Ecological Restoration Association" for the 10th time on July 13 this year.

Passionate on weekends, they have been clearing grass and caring for approximately 150 Formosan Sweetgum trees planted 1 to 10 years ago across a total of 1.9 hectares of land. They start work at 9:00 in the morning and finish at 3:00 in the afternoon, gathering for lunch in the countryside, enjoying "harvest meals" prepared by association volunteers. They tirelessly devote themselves not only to carbon reduction for environmental protection but also to getting closer to nature. Volunteers and their families from stations in the northern districts of Luzhou, Zhonghe, Xizhi, Da'an, and some units of the headquarters have been mobilized 178 times over the past year. In addition to donating various equipment and materials, GFC foundation also sponsors meals, beverages, and insurance costs for each event, contributing to its success.
