Supported wholeheartedly by Yungshin Pharm, the "Yungshin Cup," established 51 years ago, has become a prestigious honor in the hearts of Taiwanese volleyball players, akin to the Oscars. Since 1974, it has received numerous endorsements from the Ministry of Education’s Sports Administration, including awards for "Sports Promoter" and "Sports Enterprise Certification." The year 2024 marks the third time that the GFC Volleyball Team has claimed the championship.

The founding history of GFC coincides with that of the Yungshin Cup, actively participating in and sponsoring various sports activities to give back to society. The GFC Volleyball Team has been organized for over eight years, with members hailing from various sectors in Tainan who are passionate about volleyball, including GFC employees, professionals from the Science Park, and public servants. With strong support from GFC over the years, the team has not only competed in the Yungshin Cup but has also participated in other national championships such as the Kaohsiung Hejia Cup, Tainan Huazong Cup, Chiayi Zhuoluo Mountain Cup, and Desheng Cup, consistently achieving excellent results and often finishing in the top four. After finishing as runners-up in the Yungshin Cup for two consecutive years, they remained undeterred and this year defeated the Yuanhu Alliance, composed of retired national players, with scores of 21:14, 15:21, and 21:14 to claim the championship, showcasing GFC's commitment and contributions to sports events.
