Since 2007, GFC has initiated the "Elevator Science Safety Education" project, combining various resources and experiences from the company and foundation to emphasize elevator safety, promote energy efficiency and carbon reduction in elevators, and introduce educational concepts about elevator science principles. Through easy-to-understand teaching materials and tools, the project aims to help communities and students gain a better understanding of elevators and increase awareness of public safety regarding lifts and elevators. This project aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations, including "Quality Education (SDG 4)," "Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11)," and "Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12)." This year, GFC participated in the "2023 3rd Taiwan Sustainable Action Awards" organized by the Taiwan Sustainable Energy Research Foundation (TAISE) and received the prestigious SDG 04 Silver Award.
As of 2022, GFC has organized over 480 campus events, community fairs, and elevator plant visits, benefiting more than 400,000 people.
During the award ceremony,GFC General Manager, Ben Yu received the Silver Award
