Following Typhoon Danas’s landfall in Chiayi on July 6, which severely impacted central and southern Taiwan, continued southwestern airflow brought heavy rains over several days, causing widespread power and water outages, house damage, and flooding. Many people suffered losses to their property, homes, and livelihoods, and are in urgent need of assistance for recovery.

In the spirit of solidarity, GFC, in collaboration with GFC Cultural and Educational Foundation and the Tang Te-Chin Foundation, has jointly donated NT$6 million to the Ministry of Health and Welfare's “2025 Danas Typhoon Relief Fund.” The donation will be used for disaster relief, emergency medical care, shelter arrangements, and reconstruction efforts to support affected communities and help them overcome this difficult period.
