On May 22, under a blazing sun and a high of 36°C, the 2nd GFC Cup Northern Golf Tournament was held at a golf course in Taoyuan, under the shade of giant trees. The event welcomed friends from the architecture and construction sectors of Taipei and Taoyuan — including architects, contractors, developers, sales agencies, and advertising professionals — totaling 90 participants. Together with 6 GFC staff members, 24 groups played in a shotgun start format, kicking off the year’s three-region tournament series (North, Central, South). Located near an ultralight aircraft base, the constant rise and fall of helicopters during the game added extra excitement.

After the match, participants and GFC staff enjoyed a 12-table banquet and awards ceremony accompanied by a live band. A variety of prizes were awarded, with Mr. Lee Dong-Yi from Hung Tai Construction winning net score champion, and Mr. Tsai Chih-Wei from Kaiyue Construction taking the gross score title. Before dinner, guests viewed a GFC ESG 2024 promotional video and listened to the chairman’s speech outlining the company's latest developments and the origin of the “GENESIS” brand. The event ended on a high note with lively interaction between hosts and guests — only to find it was storming outside as they left.
