On the 1st of the month, a strong earthquake struck the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. Many roads in the area have fractured, and some houses have collapsed, resulting in severe damage. GFC responded to the donation campaign, joining hands with the GFC Cultural and Educational Foundation to contribute 10 million yen to the Ministry of Health and Welfare's disaster relief donation account. With this modest contribution, we hope for the speedy restoration of normal life for the affected population.
